A new school year
August 24, 2010 at 12:31 pm | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 CommentWell its back to school for the kiddos and back to all the activities too. The kids are still at the Montessori. Katie is now in 2nd grade and Mikey is in Pre-K. Both seem to be doing well so far.
We had a great summer. Katie had her dance nationals in Galveston in July. She did very well and had a lot of fun. We even got to spend a day with some dance friends at Schlitterbahn which is the local waterpark. Dance starts up again next week. We’ll be heading to Panama City in June for this years nationals. I’ll send out dates soon, if anyone is interested in vacationing with us.
We rediscovered camping this year. We took the kids to New Braunfels to camp in the camper and tube the Guadalupe River. Everyone had a blast. We really enjoyed the camper (especially the air conditioning). Katie wants a driving one like Ed and Chrissie’s but I think we’ll stick with what we have for now.
Hopefully with the kids back in school Mike will go back to flying very little. The summer has been rough as he’s been called just about everyday that he is on duty. I much prefer to have him home.
It seems that all I do is work these days. Didn’t get to travel much this summer. Hoping to get to Boston soon and maybe Florida too. The kids really miss everybody.
Well enough for now. Should be more to post soon as we all get back into the school year groove.

Hi y’all,
Well summer is about to come to an end and I haven’t really seen much of family. Right now, we are bunkered down in Salem-Derry, New Hampshire after a mandatory evacuation of Salisbury Beach State Park. We have truly enjoyed our time there but did not expect to spend 6 hours loading the MH to move about 20 miles!!!! HOWEVER.
Glad to see you are back on the blog again. I do not do facebook; so this is really nice for me. Merci.
We will probably be in the Northeast until about September 13th. Then we will head back to Florida. I have some customers that want to do business and I really appreciate the fact that they have waited for me all summer. That good old Irish catholic guilt will get you every time! So, I need to get back and sell property!
I can’t believe the kids are already back in school. WOW how time flies. Glad to hear they had a great summer and loved camping. Would love to take them camping in our camper at some point. We really have things down pat as far as the kids go in the camper right now. It is a walk in the park!
Our friends refer to us as Jed and Ellie May Clampett (do you even know who they are???) and this past weekend we took Granny with us (Eleanor). She actually had a blast! Loved the beach and the company and being outdoors!
Donna is in TX at Kim’s with the 3 week old baby. Donna is still very tired from being sick but is doing well. John is a trooper and doing fine taking care of Bailey.
Otherwise, nada new. Let us know what is going on with all of you. Would hate to miss an opportunity to see you guys if you come to Scituate before we head back to Florida.
